January 2020 – Opening of a State of The Art new manufacturing area at LPO facility , Ada , Serbia
The new manufacturing area was completed at the end of 2019 and was officially handed over to us for use at the beginning of 2020. This increased the existing 1000 m2 of the Manufacturing Division with an additional 2000 m2 of usable space.
A new FPI line was housed in the new part of the building, a degreasing line was placed in a designated area and an area for the corrosion line was prepared. New machines and devices were installed in this part of the building during 2020, such as the new modern CNC Shot Peening machine with a robot arm which is primarily intended for shot peening processes of the root part of the turbine blades as well as other parts that require this type of processing.
5 CNC ELB flat grinders were installed, which were connected to a new central cooling system with high pressure pumps.
A new CNC five-axis milling machine Okuma MU 5000 has also been installed, which will provide complex machining of workpieces.
This part of the building also hosts a calibration room and offices for engineering, as well as expanded offices for final dimensional and visual control.
