The Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Division of Bet Shemesh Engines Ltd. (BSEL) benefits from nearly 50 years expertise and experience. Continuous support and working with the industry leaders (Pratt & Whitney and GE Aviation) maintains the performance of BSEL‘s team at the highest standards possible, enabling us to meet the requirements of well reputed civil and government aircraft operators.

 

BSEL’s MRO Division which leads BSEL’s activity in the Engines Sector, provides repair, overhaul and engineering services to complete engines as well as to modules and engine components and accessories. Our team also offers field services (troubleshooting, HSI on-wing etc.) for aircraft and helicopters powered by Rolls Royce (Allison) M250 and Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engines. Large and small test cells enable the testing of thrust engines up to 35,000 lb, and turboshaft engines up to 2,500 shp. Computerized data acquisition systems are used for highest accuracy, maintaining routine calibration and correlation as per the engine manufacturers’ requirements.

In House Repairs:

Most of the part repairs are done in-house. In-house technologies include

  • Machining
  • Shot Peening
  • Heat Treatment
  • Welding
  • Brazing
  • Plating
  • Coating, including computerized robotic METCO plasma spray system, thermospray, HVOF and Sermetel coating
  • Computerized airflow measurement
  • Balancing – both static and dynamic
  • NTC (Non Destructive Test) capabilities – FPI, MPI, X-ray, ECI, Ultrasonic.
